Technical Maintenance Specialist

Grubb Properties is seeking a skilled Technical Maintenance Specialist to join their team. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining the residential buildings' infrastructure, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and mechanical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About the Role:
This is a salaried position with an estimated annual salary range of $60,000 - $80,000, based on experience and location. The Technical Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting and troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring that all aspects of the property's maintenance are completed efficiently and effectively. This role will also involve working closely with the Property Manager to ensure that all maintenance requests are addressed promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing apartments and common areas.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ensure that all aspects of the property's maintenance are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Work closely with the Property Manager to address maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of the pool and pool area, including proper chemical levels and maintenance of equipment.
Requirements:
- Two to five years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pleasant personality and ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Good mechanical skills and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
