Job Summary

Leviat, a CRH company, is a global leader in lifting, insulating and connecting technology for the construction industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Commercial Vice President to lead our sales, customer service, pricing and national account teams in North America.

In this critical role, you will report directly to the Regional President and serve as a strategic thought partner for the entire management team, driving expansion of North American sales channels. You will manage and develop a best-in-class Sales Organization to improve awareness of Leviat as a global brand, while also evaluating new opportunities for product development and synergistic industry partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate high level of safety awareness, ensuring team compliance with all safety procedures and policies
  • Provide direction and leadership to the team
  • Set the selling and go-to-market strategy for North America
  • Work with Sales Managers to create annual sales execution plans for all Sales Representatives
  • Work with the Customer Service Manager to create annual service plans for all CSR Representatives
  • Ensure team meets or exceeds targets and sales goals
  • Develop and direct sales staff to establish new customers, increase sales, and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership team on driving the overall business forward
  • Create and deliver an accurate sales budget year over year
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and health in the business
  • Analyze financial information and market intelligence to develop strategic pricing and growth plans
  • Assign responsibilities, manage, train, and coach team to achieve sales goals
  • Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key customer accounts
  • Recommend and implement strategies for market growth (e.g. new products)
  • Evaluate product portfolio and participate in new product introduction and SKU rationalization efforts
  • Work in collaboration with other CRH companies to establish best market results
  • Ongoing evaluation of pricing structure to remain competitive and ensure year-over-year growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with production and operations to monitor and ensure that product conforms to quality control parameters and is available in amounts to supply the product demand
  • Collaborate with finance team and operations to resolve any major client account issues as quickly as possible
  • Collaborate with finance department on assigning credit, collections, and any billing challenges
  • Assist the division President with developing short and long-term strategic plans

Requirements

  • Able to travel up to 70% of the time
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Management, Sales, Marketing, Client Services, or equivalent in training, education or experience in a related field or function
  • 10+ years' experience in a senior-level sales leadership role
  • Must possess a strong track record of proven leadership of high-performing teams in Sales and Customer Service
  • Must be familiar with residential, commercial, and retail distribution channels
  • Prior experience with selling through third-party distributors and direct to OEMs
  • Prior experience with target price setting, tracking, controls, and governance
  • Prior experience leading sales teams through change is considered an asset
