About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors, an H&R Block brand. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert tax guidance and support to our clients, helping them navigate complex tax and business service needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized tax advice and support throughout the year.
  • Conduct tax interviews, prepare tax returns, and provide tax planning and audit support to clients.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention, offering additional products and services as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all tax-related matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement in tax expertise and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
