Patient Services Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at the Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection Hub. The successful candidate will provide administrative support for patient care, including appointment scheduling, answering patient questions, and maintaining accurate databases and records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and surgeries via telephone, web, email, and in-person
  • Complete all forms and paperwork, including consultation documentation and insurance billing
  • Enter patient demographic and insurance information into databases and update information as needed
  • Respond to all communications and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
