The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Building Energy Engineer to conduct technical audits, develop energy models, and apply energy use data to drive operational efficiency. As part of our Active Energy Management consulting services, you'll help our clients comply with Washington State's Clean Building Performance Standard and the City of Seattle's Building Tune-Up and Building Emissions Performance Standard programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical audits and develop energy models to drive operational efficiency
  • Apply energy use data from facilities information systems to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement energy-efficient solutions
  • Support a variety of projects and interface with a wide array of stakeholders
  • Develop technical recommendations and present them to clients
Requirements
  • 8 years relevant work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI
  • Understanding of building systems and associated utility consumption
  • Proficient in building data acquisition and analysis and reporting
  • Proficient in communication/team collaboration/internal and external Interactions
