Building Automation Systems Specialist
Overview:
Gulfstream SP is seeking a skilled Building Automation Systems Specialist to optimize building performance and energy efficiency through the maintenance and operation of advanced control systems.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular maintenance on building control systems, including database backups, system analysis, and performance testing.
Troubleshoot and repair Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems and mechanical components.
Collaborate with team members and customers to provide comprehensive support and training.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
Contribute to the development and refinement of control programs and standards.
Requirements:
Associate degree or certificate in Applied Technologies or a related field.
Understanding of DDC control theory and applications, basic electronics, and electrical circuits.
Experience with mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred:
Basic programming knowledge.
Experience in a similar role within the mechanical or electrical field.
Electrical-06A license or equivalent certification.
