Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, with experience in complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level intimate events. You will be responsible for coordinating all event details, including setup, staffing, and teardown, as well as ensuring that all necessary materials are shipped and received on time.

As a Freelance Event Specialist, you will be an org representative, leader, and problem solver at events. You will be responsible for aligning roles and responsibilities with the onsite team, managing the check-in process, and escalating issues to the Events Team when necessary.

We are looking for someone who is fluent in English, has strong communication skills, and is able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed. You will also be required to travel to various areas of the local region and be able to wear many hats and take on varied tasks and projects.

This is an on-location, in-person, per-event contract role in Portland, Maine. No relocation packages are offered at this time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage event logistics, including setup, staffing, and teardown
