Job Overview

Pivotal Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our growing team.

Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work on part of a major project or a total project of moderate scope.
  • Perform work involving conventional engineering practice with complex features such as conflicting design requirements, special material needs, unusual permitting considerations, and difficult coordination issues.
  • Work requires a broad knowledge of conventional civil/site design elements and good understanding of principles and practices of related specialties including geometric layout, road design, drainage design, water distribution design, sewer design, pump station design, utility coordination, and grading design.
  • Interpret and apply State and municipal regulations and design standards to projects.
  • Implement office design procedures and graphic standards, and check drawings for conformity.
  • Estimate quantities and costs from final plans, recording this information in a neat and organized manner.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Land Development software.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • 5-8 years of experience preferred, with P.E. licensure a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering and design projects in the public improvement and private sector land development space.
