JOB SUMMARY:
The primary role of the Paratransit Bus Operator is to provide safe transportation services to individuals with disabilities and seniors, ensuring they reach their destinations securely. Our drivers are dedicated to delivering safe, dependable transport along with exceptional customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.
2. Deliver door-to-door transportation for passengers with safety and efficiency.
3. Ensure passengers are securely fastened and assist with all boarding and disembarking.
4. Welcome passengers, process fare payments, and maintain a secure environment.
5. Accurately report all incidents, accidents, and mechanical issues.
6. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum age of 21 with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
2. Possession of a valid California driver's license in good standing, with the ability to obtain a CDL permit.
3. Ability to pass a background check.
4. Must successfully complete a DOT Physical and drug screening.
5. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
6. Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
7. Flexibility in work schedule is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work is primarily conducted outdoors.

Job duties involve significant physical activity, including the use of arms, repetitive hand and wrist motions, and full-body movements such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Operators may be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds and may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, with access to safety protective gear.
