Automated Test Development Specialist

- Self-Directed Strategy Development: Develop and execute SQA strategy for both physical robot and cloud-based product lines.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper planning for verification and validation during the development and release process.
- Test Methodology Development: Establish new tests, best practices, and capabilities for the QA function to bring organization to the next level.
- Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated tests using Page Object Model and TestNG test framework.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Partner with other engineering disciplines to develop automated test methodologies to reduce manual testing needs.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience as an SQA or software systems engineer for complex network-enabled IoT hardware devices and web applications.
- Programming Skills: Familiarity with Java, Python, Golang, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Communication and Teamwork: Clear and effective communication of defects and risks, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Tools and Technologies: Proficient with monitoring and test tools such as Mezmo, Postman, and Metabase, as well as experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, RDS, Amplify.
- Bug Tracking and Software QA Automation: Experience with bug tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, etc., and software QA automation, building software test automation infrastructure & processes.
