Job Overview:

The successful candidate will play a critical part in designing, building, and optimizing the core processing pipeline that drives innovative insights for insurers, automakers, and commercial mobility providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance software solutions for actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver features that meet customer needs and technical feasibility.
  • Monitor and enhance production system performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Create and maintain automated testing frameworks to support robust deployments.
  • Uphold high software quality standards and contribute to cloud architecture decisions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure code quality remains high as the system grows in complexity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant development experience in large-scale environments.
  • Proficiency in Python (or willingness to learn) and experience with other programming languages (C++ is a plus).
  • Strong expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS/Postgres, Dynamo) and infrastructure tools such as Terraform and Docker.
  • Experience with relational database schema design and integration of complex systems.
  • Proficiency in debugging and maintaining high-end, complex systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Proven ability to solve big and complicated problems efficiently.
