Warehouse Automation Innovator

Pickle Robot Company is looking for a skilled Warehouse Automation Innovator to join our team. As part of our perception team, you will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge 3D object detection solutions for warehouse automation. Your expertise in computer vision and robotics will help us create innovative solutions for supply chain applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design perception solutions to address complex 3D object detection challenges using stereo cameras.
- Collaborate with other robotics autonomy teams to develop pragmatic, comprehensive solutions that integrate with our broader hardware and software systems.
- Lead, and participate in, the implementation and validation of designed solutions.
- Act as a mentor and subject-matter expert to enhance the team's collective technical expertise.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience (including research/PhD) working on robotics software or a closely related discipline.
- 3+ years of industry experience solving 3D perception problems.
- A bachelor's degree (preferably Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Experience in delivering perception solutions, starting from state-of-the-art surveying and prototyping to integrating and deploying.
- Highly proficient with Python and prior experience with at least one compiled language among C, C++, and Rust.
