Electrophysiology Technologist

Assists the physician in the invasive testing and/or treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab. Provides specialized technical support and assistance to the physician in the precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions, related testing and treatment of adult and pediatric patients.
Troubleshoots equipment problems and works closely with Clinical Engineering staff to maximize the functionality of the equipment and minimize downtime.
Responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assists the physician in the invasive testing and/or treatment of patients
- Provides specialized technical support and assistance to the physician
- Troubleshoots equipment problems and works closely with Clinical Engineering staff
- Responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
- Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiology program or IBHRE endorsed certificate or degree program (at least twelve month duration) or equivalent
- Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
