Electrophysiology Specialist Certified

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Specialist Certified to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a key member of our electrophysiology team, you will provide clinical and technological assistance to our physicians in performing complex invasive electrophysiology studies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include assisting physicians with procedures in the EP lab, including implanted devices and arrhythmia ablations; assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants; and providing patient care to all electrophysiology patients.
Additional responsibilities include performing arrhythmia ablations, assisting with geometric mapping and implantation of cardiac devices, and providing technical support and patient care services.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to apply scientific principles related to clinical electrophysiology to provide technical support and patient care services.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field, or successful completion of a Radiological Technologist program, and one year of related cardiovascular technology work experience.
- Current licensure as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) through the Washington State Department of Health, and current Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS) as issued by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Or, current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist through the Washington State Department of Health, and current Radiography certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) is also required.
To be considered for a Lead delegation, these requirements must be met in addition to the above, including two years of related work experience, advanced knowledge of EP protocols, equipment and related troubleshooting, and considerable knowledge of the policies, standards, procedures, processes and tools applicable to the work unit and the function.
Please note that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
