As a skilled Electrophysiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in the invasive testing and treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab. Your primary responsibility will be to provide specialized technical support and assistance to the physician in the precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions, related testing, and treatment of adult and pediatric patients.

This position requires troubleshooting equipment problems and working closely with Clinical Engineering staff to maximize the functionality of the equipment and minimize downtime. You will be an integral part of a team that is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and advancing the field of electrophysiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the physician in the invasive testing and treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab
  • Provide specialized technical support and assistance to the physician in the precise diagnostic mapping of patient-specific lesions
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and work closely with Clinical Engineering staff to maximize the functionality of the equipment and minimize downtime

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiology program or IBHRE endorsed certificate or degree program (at least twelve month duration) or equivalent
  • Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
  • National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
