The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent flow and temperatures of wastewater, supporting the direction of wastewater program needs, and maintaining proper required documentation and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wastewater Operations: Ensure consistent flow and temperatures of wastewater is adequate at the plant.
  • Program Support: Support in directing wastewater program needs such as ensuring clean filters.
  • Documentation and Equipment: Maintain and ensure proper required documentation and equipment for wastewater within ISO mandate.
  • Team Management: Schedule, support, train, supervise and coach wastewater team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Advise and direct wastewater programs as per federal, state, and local environmental laws.
Essential Duties
  • Operational Planning: Plans and organizes daily activities related to waste water operations.
  • Temperature Control: Ensures temperature controls of final product are adequate (Dry solids).
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure proper cleaning of solids are cleaned from sediment tanks.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensures all wastewater areas are clean and free from trash and construction.
  • Safety and PPE: Supports all operations in a safety manner and always enforces proper usage of PPE.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain wastewater pumps in good working condition.
  • Sampling and Analysis: Ensures proper samples are taken randomly and ensures adequate follow-up process.
  • Loading and Unloading: Ensure the proper loading and unloading of product (dry solid).
  • Truck Loading: Oversees loading of trucks with final product.
  • Budgeting: Assist with budgets preparation for corn operations department local and abroad.
  • Additional Duties: Performs additional duties in relation to corn local and as required.
  • Lab Analysis: Ensures proper laboratory analysis are conducted according to wastewater programs.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Agronomy, BM, BA, BSM, Plant Soil, Agriculture; MBA preferred but not required.

Certifications: Basic Supervisor Training, HACCp. GMPs. ICPM preferred.

Experience: 2 plus years in supervisory role desirable.
