Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a clinical leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies, with the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
