Key Responsibilities- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
- Minimum 3 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a clinical leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies, with the ability to apply them in a practical setting.
