IES Residential is actively seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to manage Multi-Family Construction Projects in the San Antonio, Texas region.

Compensation based on experience: $1,200 - $2,000 plus bonuses

Work Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Multi-Family Construction Projects
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned hourly workers and subcontractors in accordance with engineering specifications and the National Electric Code.
  • Possess knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations required by city inspectors to ensure compliance and timely project completion.
  • Manage materials to maintain appropriate inventory levels and staging.
  • Implement cost control measures to optimize production processes, minimize material waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as necessary for areas of supervision.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with subcontractors, division managers, and other skilled trades.
  • Analyze and resolve work-related issues.
  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Promptly address any potential hazards or report them to the responsible personnel.
  • Assess the materials, equipment, and labor needed to complete assigned tasks, ensuring all necessary items are ordered and available at the job site.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, taking direction from supervisors and providing clear instructions.
Compensation:

Minimum:

USD $1,200.00/Wk.
Maximum:

USD $2,000.00/Wk.
Minimum Education: None
Minimum Years of Experience: 2-4
Specific Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Electrical Supervisor in the Multi-Family sector.
  • Thorough understanding of the current National Electric Code.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret electrical construction drawings.
  • Exhibit safe work practices and proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Must possess Multi-Family experience as a Job Supervisor.
