About the Role

As a Sales Manager at Neiman Marcus Group Careers, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sales teams to achieve maximum sales and growth, aligning with company vision and values.
  • Oversee merchandise presentation, returns, and damages, collaborating with merchant and vendor partners.
  • Manage team execution, anticipating and adjusting for risks and roadblocks to maintain departmental performance.
  • Contribute to strategic goals for the store and set priorities by department.
  • Review business with applicable Buyers for department and discuss action plans to produce positive results.
  • Establish plans and strategies in partnership with Client Development Lead(s).
  • Analyze internal and external customer behaviors, trends, and preferences, adjusting processes and standards accordingly.
  • Plan and complete departmental budgets, ensuring guidelines are followed to minimize operating expenses and maximize revenue.
  • Support audit compliance to enforce department and stockroom controls, as applicable.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in luxury retail fashion.
  • Track record of achieving results.
  • History of building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams.
  • Win together mentality.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds.
  • Schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
