About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Plant Director to join our team at Niagara Bottling. This is a leadership role that requires a strong background in manufacturing operations, with a focus on safety, quality, and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a safe and efficient plant culture, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality and reduce costs.
  • Direct and coordinate plant operations, working closely with department managers to achieve production goals.
  • Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff, fostering a well-trained and motivated team.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews, schedule and conduct plant meetings, and ensure maintenance of a clean and safe plant environment.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, attending corporate trainings and meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 4 years of experience managing people and projects.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, or customers.
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, and 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
