Position Overview:

As a pivotal figure in systems engineering, we seek your expertise to tackle intricate challenges and influence our client's objectives by guiding an engineering team. Your clients will rely on you not only to architect and develop these systems but also to enhance them with cutting-edge technological solutions utilizing the Essential Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 15 years of experience in Systems Engineering for Information Technology (IT) infrastructures
  • Proficiency in planning and executing Program Increments, retrospectives, and other Essential SAFe processes
  • Expertise in analyzing, planning, designing, documenting, assessing, and managing the structural framework of IT enterprises to align IT systems with the organization’s mission, objectives, and operational processes
  • Skill in translating technical specifications into programming guidelines, developing, customizing, or procuring application software, and conducting testing, debugging, and maintenance of software applications
  • Experience in testing, installing, configuring, and maintaining networks, including hardware components such as servers, hubs, bridges, switches, and routers, along with software that facilitates information sharing and transmission
  • Competence in developing and managing databases for data storage and retrieval, and establishing standards for information management
  • Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software to ensure system availability and functionality
  • TS/SCI clearance is mandatory
  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Technology
  • Agile and DoD 8570 Level I Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile Project Management tools, including Jira
  • Experience with Confluence or similar knowledge management platforms
  • Certifications such as SAFe Agilist, SAFe Product Owner or Product Manager, Confluence, or Jira

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
