Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- Over 15 years of professional experience in systems engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Systems Engineer for designated programs, overseeing a range of engineering activities.
- Lead systems engineering efforts, including requirements analysis, functional analysis, and the formulation of design solutions.
- Utilize systems engineering principles to convert defined needs into performance specifications and system configurations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive systems engineering documentation, processes, and milestones.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the Systems Engineering Management Process as it pertains to the Department of Army/DOD Acquisition process.
- Provide expert guidance on technical aspects of assigned programs.
- Oversee design, development, integration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Translate military operational requirements into actionable system concepts.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and engineering drawings.
- Participate in program reviews and design assessments as the project engineer.
- Evaluate design initiatives to ensure cohesive integration across engineering disciplines.
- Review and assess test plans and reports for technical soundness.
- Monitor system performance against specifications and evaluate risks associated with user requirements.
- Initiate engineering change proposals and conduct configuration audits as necessary.
