Job Title: Technical Support Tech II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Tech II to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a Technical Support Tech II, you will be responsible for monitoring machine operations and making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Sheet Metal Fabrication: Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including shears, presses, and brakes.
  • Perform tasks such as cutting, bending, and forming sheet metal components.
  • Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on CNC and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance team for complex repairs and servicing.
  • Quality Control: Inspect machined and fabricated parts to ensure they meet design specifications and tolerances.
  • Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality checks.
  • Document and report any discrepancies or non-conformances.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety in the workplace.
  • Collaboration and Support: Assist in developing and improving machining processes and techniques.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide support to other machine shop personnel as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines and/or sheet metal fabrication equipment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is highly desirable.
