Position Overview

Are you interested in collaborating with leading physicians and hospital personnel while utilizing advanced medical technologies?

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our operational team. Our comprehensive training program equips our surgical technology specialists to assist surgeons in the operating room, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Join our organization - your impact is significant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate surgical lasers and various medical devices, providing technical laser guidance to surgeons and staff before and during procedures.
  • Conduct pre-operative checklists, sterilization, laser calibrations, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Discuss patient procedure requirements with surgeons and staff prior to the operation.
  • Manage medical equipment inventories.
  • Adhere to safe vehicle operations, workplace safety practices, and laser safety protocols.
  • Foster a collaborative working relationship with both ForTec employees and client personnel.
  • Deliver innovative surgical technologies to hospitals and surgical centers for scheduled procedures.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Key Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in medical, EMT, Surgical Technology, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or military service is advantageous but not mandatory. We are willing to train eager learners.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings or occasional evening shifts; some overnight travel may be necessary.
  • Ability to lift, push, or maneuver over 50 pounds of medical equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Professional demeanor.
