About the Role

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs x-ray procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This role requires expertise in operating fixed and mobile x-ray devices, as well as experience in high-acuity areas, surgical areas, and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will participate in the training of student technologists and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Develop and maintain expertise in high-acuity areas, surgical areas, and outpatient settings
  • Participate in the training of student technologists
  • Contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • Graduate of a 2-year accredited Radiology Technology program
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) - Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) within 90 days
  • Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
