Job Summary

Amyx is seeking a highly experienced Acquisition Governance and Oversight Division Lead to support our US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) CSS contract in the DC/Metro area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strong managerial experience in organizing, planning, directing, and managing contractor staff.
  • Assist the CSS Program Manager in providing required team leadership and guidance, program management vision, and consult with senior leadership as needed in support of the AGO day-to-day operations.
  • Assist the CSS Program Manager in providing qualified and experienced personnel and provide all supervision to its personnel ensuring each of the task areas below:
    • Innovation, Quality, and Strategic Planning
    • Process Management and Lean Six Sigma
    • Knowledge Management
    • Acquisition Workforce Management Support
    • Strategic Human Capital Planning
    • CBP Acquisitions Governance Support
    • Performance Planning and Metrics Support
    • Audit Liaison and Tracking
Qualifications
  • Quality Management Experience
  • Lean Six Sigma process experience
  • Must have an active CBP Background Investigation
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Preferred, Black Belt Desired
  • Experience and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Freedom of Information Act, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acquisition Manual (HSAM), and other regulatory and policy supplements
  • DHS Management Directive 102-01 and its supporting guides, DoD 5000, Program Management Institute guides, and/or Federal Acquisition Institute guidelines
