Shift: Monday – Friday, core hours 8:30am-5:00pm
Location: On-site

Position Summary:
At Silencer Central, we uphold the principle that Customers + Integrity = Success. The Lead Financial Analyst will be responsible for generating financial reports, conducting account reconciliations, managing the general ledger, preparing tax documentation, aiding in audit preparations, and executing various accounting tasks as assigned. This position demands a robust understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and exceptional financial analytical capabilities. Additionally, the Lead Financial Analyst should demonstrate advanced Excel proficiency, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while thriving under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing accounting functions and initiatives
  • Generating financial analyses and reports
  • Preparing and evaluating financial statements in line with GAAP and company policies
  • Assisting with budget variance analysis
  • Contributing to the development of budgets and forecasts through financial insights and analysis
  • Maintaining the general ledger by recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring precision
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and assistance
  • Assisting with the preparation of federal, state, local, and other tax filings
  • Identifying inefficiencies in accounting processes and proposing enhancements to optimize operations and strengthen controls
  • Staying informed about changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance with applicable standards
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and compliance issues
  • Contributing to the development of new or revised accounting systems, programs, and procedures
  • Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and reporting
  • Participating in specialized projects and initiatives as directed by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience required
  • Proficient understanding of tax regulations and GAAP
  • Strong financial analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently to meet objectives
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve collective goals
  • Critical thinking skills - utilizing logic and reasoning to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches to challenges
  • Ability to monitor and assess performance for self and team members to implement improvements or corrective actions

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000. Silencer Central provides a competitive total compensation package that includes:
