Job Description

Job Summary:

C & B Equipment is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Lead to oversee the AR team and ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions. This role requires a strong attention to detail, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations: Oversee internal billing between logistics division and stores, including monitoring of load requests, invoicing customers, and invoicing stores.
  • AR Team Management: Supervise and mentor AR staff, ensuring professional development and accuracy in their work.
  • Cash Flow Management: Post customer payments to account, process credit overrides, monitor AR email, and run finance charges on customer balances monthly.
  • Customer Service: Work with stores and customers on collections of aged AR, resolve issues, and continuously strive for process improvement within the AR department.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Controller to improve AR processes and policies, implement and maintain these policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve AR-related issues and communicate effectively and professionally to internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an AR role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, financial software, query tools, and ERP systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions.
