Chief Procurement Officer

As the Chief Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing all procurement activities, including sourcing of materials, packaging, supplies, and contract manufacturing. This position requires the development of strategic procurement initiatives, leading the overall procurement function, and ensuring that cost efficiency and quality benchmarks are achieved. The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing a procurement strategy that influences the company's operational practices and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute procurement strategies and category management plans
  • Work closely with executive leadership to ensure procurement strategies align with corporate goals
  • Oversee supply chain management, negotiate supplier contracts, and enhance supplier performance
  • Guarantee adherence to corporate and regulatory standards
  • Mentor and guide the procurement team
  • Identify and implement initiatives to maximize corporate purchasing power

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of procurement experience in a sizable manufacturing environment
  • Expertise in both domestic and international sourcing practices
  • Demonstrated success in advancing procurement operations
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
  • Capacity for innovative thinking and effective problem-solving
