About the Role

We're seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to drive the accuracy and efficiency of our supply chain operations. As a Demand Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in forecasting demand, managing inventory, and ensuring that our products are always available to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monthly Planning Process: Lead the monthly item/channel level demand planning process, including independent analysis and meetings with sales, marketing, and finance teams to identify risks and opportunities vs. revenue plan. Incorporate and document assumptions driving the demand plan, including shipment and sales trends, seasonality, promotions, innovation, and discontinuations.
  2. Non-Salable Forecasting: Develop and lead the non-salable forecasting process to support programs driving business growth, ensuring flawless execution by the operations team, aligned with the annual budget.
  3. New Product Development: Develop shipment forecasts for NPD launches, with safety stock recommendations.
  4. Discontinuation: Monitor sales and inventory for product changes and discontinuations to drive visibility of inventory and sales, minimizing obsolete inventory.
  5. Reporting & Analytics: Provide forecast accuracy metrics, item performance, demand plan reporting, at-risk reporting, working capital, and ad-hoc analysis as part of the S&OP Process.
  6. Allocation: Manage and facilitate the allocation process for low inventory SKUs.
  7. Finance Partnership: Support the annual budgeting process and monthly re-forecast for risks and opportunities.
  8. Lead and Support in Monthly Consensus and S&OP Meetings.
  9. Identify Monthly At-Risk Inventory and Partner with Sales on Disposition.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Demand Planning.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in CPG or Beauty industry.
  • Data and Systems Experience & Aptitude: NetSuite or comparable ERP is a plus.
  • Outstanding communications skills (both written and verbal).
  • Outstanding time management skills. Able to juggle multiple priorities at once.
  • Able to commute to the office minimum 2 days per week.
  • Regular business travel to the warehouse (minimum 1x/month).
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship from employer.
