Position Overview:
We are seeking a Community Relations Specialist to serve as a vital link between our organization and the local healthcare community. BreakThrough Physical Therapy, part of the Confluent Health network, is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where our team members thrive while helping patients regain their daily activities.


In this role, you will cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers and community organizations, while also engaging with employers and insurance partners.

The Community Relations Specialist will collaborate closely with the Marketing Director and Clinic Managers to execute targeted marketing strategies across the organization.

This is a PART-TIME opportunity

~20 Hours/Week - 2 full days, 1 half day

Compensation:
~$19-$21/Hour

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Development:
Establish and nurture connections with selected healthcare providers and referral sources.

Conduct direct outreach to physicians, averaging 8-10 contacts daily.

Facilitate opportunities for physical therapists to engage with potential clients.

Maintain effective communication with referring providers and their support staff.

Participate in regular marketing strategy meetings.

Adhere to confidentiality standards and comply with all relevant regulations.

Perform additional job-related tasks as required.

Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and appropriate responses to customer inquiries.

Develop a consistent schedule to meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

Keep accurate records of referral information and sales activities using Salesforce.

Community Engagement:
Collaborate with Clinic Managers to plan and execute community outreach events.

Build local partnerships through advertising, sponsorships, and collaborative initiatives.

Manage marketing materials and ensure clinics are well-stocked with promotional items.

Support the integrity of the corporate brand.

Strategic Planning:
Assist in creating a quarterly marketing plan that includes budget considerations, promotional materials, relationship building, and community engagement strategies.

Provide updates on marketing activities and track demographic data to inform future initiatives.

Deliver marketing training to Clinic Managers and designated staff.

Maintain an up-to-date database of referral sources in Salesforce.

Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a clinical field with relevant sales/marketing experience.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years in medical sales is required.

Experience in a liaison role is preferred.

Skills & Requirements:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:

Previous experience in healthcare sales is essential, with existing connections in the primary care community being a plus.

Proficient in using digital tools and software, including Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while meeting deadlines.

Physical Demands:
Manual dexterity for computer use is necessary.

Regular communication is required.

Must be able to drive and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
