POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you seeking a fulfilling career in public service? A role as an Administrative Support Specialist 2 within the Office of Income Maintenance could be the right fit for you. ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Administrative Support Specialist 2 will undertake a variety of clerical responsibilities aimed at supporting staff in delivering exceptional services to the citizens of Pennsylvania.

The responsibilities include engaging in various clerical and general office tasks while adhering to established office protocols and utilizing relevant systems.

Administrative Support Specialists will interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner, both face-to-face and over the phone.

This role will require basic computer skills to execute numerous office functions, including data entry, customer service, document scanning, filing, answering telephones, and managing mail and voice messages.

All duties will be performed under the general supervision of a Clerical Supervisor.

WORK SCHEDULE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This is a full-time position with standard working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including a 60-minute lunch break. The role may necessitate occasional travel and overtime as required. Parking is provided at no cost.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Assigned tasks will be conducted in a controlled office setting. Employees may be reassigned to different locations based on operational needs, in accordance with contractual agreements.

SALARY:
Newly hired candidates will start at an annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum experience and training requirements include:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must meet the residency requirement for Pennsylvania. Preference may be given to candidates residing within the relevant county.

LEGAL REQUIREMENT:
A conditional offer of employment will necessitate the submission of criminal history reports.
