Position Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be tasked with executing a range of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating necessary equipment, and maintaining essential documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct standardized radiological examinations, ensuring proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of all equipment within the radiology department.
3. Prepare and modify immobilization and radiation protection devices as required.
4. Assess patient characteristics such as body size, age, and medical history to perform examinations effectively.
5. Assist physicians during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
6. Report any equipment malfunctions and coordinate necessary adjustments or repairs.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to examinations.
8. Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control initiatives as needed.
9. Contribute to the educational development of students in the field.

Work Environment

Your work will primarily take place in a clinical setting, where you will be accountable for fulfilling all job-specific responsibilities while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required)

Experience: Relevant experience in the field is essential.

Certifications: Must hold certification as a Radiology Technologist within 24 months from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and possess Basic Life Support Certification.
