Radiologic Imaging Specialist

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, ensuring the operation of equipment, and maintaining comprehensive records.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute standardized radiological examinations with precision, utilizing appropriate patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of all equipment within the radiology department.
3. Prepare and modify immobilization and radiation protection devices as necessary.
4. Assess patient characteristics such as body size, age, and medical condition to perform examinations effectively.
5. Support physicians during various procedures as required.
6. Report any equipment malfunctions and recommend necessary adjustments or repairs.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to examinations.
8. Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes as needed.
9. Contribute to the educational development of students in the field.
Work Environment
This role is primarily conducted in a clinical setting, where you will be accountable for fulfilling all job-specific responsibilities while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required)
Experience: Certification(s) and License(s)
Certified Radiology Technologist within 24 months - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body.
