The Tyndale Company, a private and woman-owned business with a strong track record of innovation and excellence, is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex contracts and agreements, collaborating with various internal departments, management levels, customers, external legal partners, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of contract nuances and be able to effectively identify, articulate, and respond to these complexities in a timely manner. They will also be responsible for working closely with the Content Marketing Manager to review redlines from the legal partner, ensuring a customer-friendly version is prepared for submission with RFPs or outside the RFP process. The successful candidate will also keep the Vice President of Marketing informed of any significant risk negotiations.

This is a hybrid/remote opportunity that requires onsite work at least one day per week and four days per week remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within commuting distance from Tyndale's headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County) or Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential for managing multiple documents, components, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the outside legal partner to ensure timely responses to customer contracts.
  • Work closely with the IT team to guarantee accurate data security questionnaires.
  • Align contract language and data security language with the marketing team for seamless RFP processes.
  • Upload, tag, and make contracts searchable in ContractWorks.
  • Regularly update policies and procedures related to data security practices.
  • Maintain effective collaboration with all management levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure brand positioning and messaging consistency in contract commentary.

The Contracts Specialist will have the chance to refine Tyndale's contracts process, which involves elements such as:

  • Expert use of the ContractWorks platform to create and pull reports for the sales team and other internal departments.
  • Streamlining the contract review process, potentially through a third-party 'ticketing' option.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, communication, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in a law office, preferably with technical and legal documents.
  • Stellar communication skills are crucial for this position.
  • Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and organization are necessary skills to meet the expectations of this role.
  • B-to-B or B-to-C experience is preferred.
  • Data analysis and reporting experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in ContractWorks or similar contract management systems a plus.
  • Organized, with the ability to multitask and think outside the box.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team.
  • Strong integrity, with a commitment to their word.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, work under short time frames, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter and detailed oriented, with the ability to work independently and make recommendations and judgment calls.
Estimated Salary Range:

$85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
