Project Manager - Residential Remodeling

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of our residential remodeling projects. This role involves comprehensive oversight, from budget management and change orders to site management and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, manage expenses, and execute approved change orders in a timely manner.
  • Procurement: Handle material and service procurement to ensure timely delivery and project continuity.
  • Site Supervision & Quality Control: Supervise daily construction activities and conduct inspections to maintain quality standards.
  • Client & Design Team Communication: Serve as the primary client contact, leading weekly meetings with clients and the design team to ensure alignment on project goals and schedules.
  • Project Reviews & Documentation: Conduct quarterly reviews on budget, schedule, and open items; maintain accurate project documentation and reports for the VP of Construction.
  • Scheduling & Compliance: Manage project schedules using a Gantt chart tool; ensure compliance with building codes and coordinate inspections.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, mentor junior staff, and foster a positive team environment.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years in residential remodeling construction.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, codes, and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of budgets, change orders, and POs.

  • $100,000-$130,000, plus additional bonuses based on performance.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Organization: Detail-oriented with proficiency in project management tools.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to visit and navigate construction sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
