Sensory Technician Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sensory Technician to join our team. As a Sensory Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our sensory team with various projects related to food product development and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist sensory team with various projects, including descriptive analysis, consumer guidance, difference panels, and team tastings.
- Prepare samples, serve samples to trained panels, and prepare taste, flavor, aroma, and/or texture references for the trained panel.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the lab in compliance with Cargill Food Safety, EHS, and PPE policies.
- Complete the Master Sanitation checklist on a weekly basis.
- Manage inventory of supplies and perform miscellaneous data entry tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Lab experience preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks on a deadline basis and work effectively with a team as well as independently.
- Ability to drive on city streets to pick up samples from other R&D locations or go from one building to another to assist with panels as needed.
- 3-6 months lab experience.
- Kitchen experience is a plus.
