Facilities Operations Manager

The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining and overseeing NJ CCF's cultivation and processing facility, equipment, grounds, and retail locations to ensure safe and effective work conditions and environments. This position involves performing semi-skilled and skilled technical repairs and maintenance work, including building maintenance and equipment, plumbing, and electrical repair work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Monitor regular scheduled inspections for maintenance and safety procedures, routine repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure all structures and operating systems are in good working order.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance and repairs to identify potential issues before they become costly problems.
- Engage with external contractors and licensed tradesmen for large-scale projects, subject to management review and approval.
- Establish and manage SOPs for maintenance, sanitation, core services, and waste management.
- Maintain inventory, storage, and distribution of all supplies and equipment.
- Provide recommendations for new equipment and manage its installation, testing, and maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance functionality, efficiency, and sustainability of fixed assets.
- Lead, train, and develop members of the NJ CCF Facilities team.
- Maintain current knowledge of state regulations, Acreage policies, and procedures, and create a system for maintaining warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for all fixed assets.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- HVAC experience is necessary.
- Experience in construction and knowledge of equipment and tools is preferred.
- Strong experience with preventive maintenance, planning, and execution is preferred.
- 5 or more years of facilities management experience are required.
- Strong management and supervisory skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and accountability.
- Must pass state and federal background checks.
