Job Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist provides daily care and attention to maintain a clean, efficient, and operational environment within the facility. This role is responsible for maintenance, repairs, and sanitation at the direction of the Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily sanitation procedures, including bathrooms, hallways, break areas, and facilities.
Assist with cultivation room clean-up following post-harvest operations.
Restock all PPE, trash, and restroom supplies throughout the building daily.
Perform minor repairs of all buildings and equipment with minimal supervision.
Monitor receiving dock, communicate incoming deliveries, and sign packing slips after shipment verification.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of repairs, equipment cleaning, maintenance, and calibration.
Promptly report any system failure, malfunction, or facility damage to the Facilities Manager.
Assist the Facilities Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree or technical qualifications related to plumbing, mechanical maintenance, HVAC/A.C certification, engineering, logistics, or related field preferred.
Work history in facilities and/or maintenance/engineering or related qualifications, showing progressive responsibility, willingness to accept additional projects or challenges required.

Physical Requirements:

Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Ability to climb an OSHA-approved A-Frame ladder.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 100 feet.
Close visual focus required.
Must pass state-required background check.
