Primary Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional service to patrons seated at the bar and prepare drink orders for the service team. The ideal candidate will possess creativity and expertise in cocktail preparation, as well as the ability to educate guests about our offerings and overall restaurant concept. A strong focus on hospitality is essential, with a commitment to enhancing the guest experience at every opportunity.


Required Qualities:

  • 2-5 years of bartending experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Charismatic and articulate demeanor.
  • Customer-oriented with outstanding tableside service.
  • Understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
  • Exceptional time management abilities.
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on fostering a positive workplace culture through effective systems and SOP implementation.
  • Values of honesty, strong work ethic, and high moral integrity.

Key Duties:

  • Assist the Bar Director in selecting the spirits used in our establishment.
  • Provide beverage service during evening hours, guiding guests in their selections and executing their orders with precision.
  • Support the Bar Director in offering educational resources and tools for the front-of-house staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in the restaurant industry through workshops and professional literature.
  • Deliver world-class service in alignment with company standards on a nightly basis.
  • Conduct pre-service inventory, managing the procurement and organization of liquors and supplies.
  • Perform monthly inventory tasks, including invoice management and maintaining bar organization.

Service Excellence:

  • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Remember names and faces of regular patrons, greeting them personally.
  • Adhere to service protocols and effectively communicate our concept and philosophy to all guests.
  • Assist management with restaurant opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Guide guests in their beverage choices, providing personalized recommendations.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs promptly and respectfully.
  • Support all front-of-house staff in various service aspects.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all suppliers.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of cocktails and their appropriate pairings.
  • Understand menu nuances to assist guests with dietary restrictions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Stock and restock bar areas with necessary supplies.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Efficiently service a full bar, cocktail station, and dining room orders.
  • Safely transport food and beverages to tables.
  • Regularly handle liquids, including water and cleaning solutions.
  • Effectively use all necessary tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively to follow job requirements.
  • Multitask calmly in a busy environment.
  • Work in confined spaces with varying noise and temperature levels.
  • Lift and move items as required, ensuring safety.
  • Stand and walk for the duration of the shift, navigating the restaurant safely.

Compensation: $25-27/hour, full-time hourly position.
