Inventory Process Supervisor

As a Process Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the quality of all intake operations within the warehouse department.
You will be tasked with receiving and verifying ambient packaging and ingredients, as well as conducting stock rotation and cycle counts.
Any quality-related issues or concerns must be promptly communicated to the area Line Supervisor or Warehouse Manager for immediate resolution.
Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration with other staff members, including production, procurement, and technical supervisory personnel, are essential.
The role is predominantly carried out in a climate-controlled environment and requires prolonged periods of standing and heavy lifting.
Shift:
A Shift: 223 shift pattern 06:00-18:00, Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, Week 2 Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

DUTIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Execute tasks as trained.
• Inform management when untrained for specific tasks.
• Refrain from undertaking tasks without proper training.
• Promote health and safety for oneself and colleagues.
• Report any health and safety concerns to your immediate supervisor.
• Document any accidents or near misses to the designated first aider.
• Set a positive example of workplace behavior.
• Maintain Quality and Hygiene standards in the production area.
• Ensure productivity standards are met.
• Be prepared to work in various areas of the business as needed.
• Complete reasonable overtime or work outside core hours to fulfill business demands.
• Actively seek to minimize any negative environmental impact related to processes and procedures within your area and across the broader organization (e.g., waste reduction, recycling, etc.).
• Arrive ready at the start of your shift to conduct specified checks accurately, promptly, and methodically, minimizing any delays or disruptions to the production process.
• Accurately record all information generated throughout the shift on the appropriate documentation, enabling production and technical management to monitor product quality, etc.• Adhere to all intake procedures specific to the item in accordance with Technical and customer requirements.
• Upon identifying discrepancies during intake checks, the intake process supervisor must complete a non-conformance report, notify the warehouse manager, and distribute non-conformance information to relevant departments.
• Separate the stock and place it on hold, noting the hold log number obtained from technical.
• Identify short shelf-life and expired ingredients weekly for the procurement department. Shelf life extensions will be requested for these items.• Ensure that all necessary equipment is available and operational to facilitate efficient and competent checks.
• Generate internal transfer orders from QK for the factory's daily frozen requirements.• Utilize the Protean system to input details of received goods, inter-site stock transfers, adjust stock locations, rectify stock issues, raise inter-site transfer orders, reserve stock and shipments, and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain awareness of allergen segregation controls to prevent cross-contamination during receipt and issuance.• Understand traceability procedures to ensure vendor accountability and trace back to the source.
• Be capable of checking and operating all designated weighing, measuring, or monitoring equipment to ensure it is fully functional and accurate within specifications.
• Stay informed about changes to product specifications and testing procedures as they evolve, ensuring operations meet current standards.
• At shift changeover, ensure all relevant information, documentation, and equipment are transferred to the incoming Process Supervisor to maintain operational continuity and highlight any areas of concern.
