The Automotive Network Planning Consultant will be an integral member of the Automotive Dealer Network Planning Solutions team at S&P Global. This role involves delivering insights and analyses to Vehicle OEMs, Dealer Groups, and various organizations, with a focus on the strategic placement and optimization of retail locations and services. The Consultant will collaborate with international colleagues to devise innovative solutions and contribute to projects that enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in client projects from initial data gathering to final report presentation
  • Facilitate client interactions related to Location Planning initiatives
  • Provide support to colleagues in the areas of Automotive and Location Planning expertise
  • Contribute to the creation of new methodologies and processes
  • Remain informed about industry developments and participate in relevant conferences

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Applied Geography, Geomatics, Applied Statistics, Business Informatics, or a related field
  • Proficient in both German and English
  • Strong skills in SQL, GIS (preferably ESRI), and MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region, with a focus on Germany
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Enthusiasm for Automotive, Location Planning, and technological advancements
