As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our YMCA centers, leading a diverse team of Associate Center Executives and Executive Directors, and collaborating with various departments to achieve our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of operations professionals to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall Y experience.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and other senior leaders to set organizational vision and direction.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage budgets, financial reports, and other financial data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and other external organizations.
  • Represent the YMCA in industry conferences, professional associations, and other agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management in a non-profit or YMCA environment.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple locations or centers and managing diverse teams.
  • Strong strategic planning, performance management, and employee development skills.
  • Experience in managing operations, including facility management, fiscal oversight, and program development.
  • Ability to drive high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
  • Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and managing revenue and expenses.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to lead strategically and perform hands-on work.
