Regional Vice President of Affordable Housing Operations

Job Description

Solidago Residential Services is seeking a highly skilled Regional Vice President of Affordable Housing Operations to oversee the performance of a portfolio of affordable housing communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of affordable housing markets, trends, and regulations, as well as excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to property management agreements and oversee major planning and execution initiatives to deliver best-in-class service and performance.
  • Supervise the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets, marketing, and business plans for all communities under direct management.
  • Create and implement detailed sales, leasing, and operational plans to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Consistently engage the operations team to review and assess property operations and performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of communities to ensure optimal curb appeal and effective leasing and maintenance operations.
  • Provide oversight for asset preservation and optimization of revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures established by the company.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the multifamily industry with an emphasis on affordable housing.
  • Leadership skills and a proven ability to drive results.
  • Thorough knowledge of HUD, LITCH, TDHCA, TAA, and other affordable housing programs.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
