  • Engages in developing and executing strategies to enhance clinic efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensures the clinic's daily service excellence, addressing facility upkeep, IT concerns, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Tracks essential performance indicators, including cancellations, no-shows, patient visits, customer satisfaction, and authorization metrics.
  • Manages authorizations within the clinic or designated region.
  • Handles a multi-line phone system, collecting demographic and insurance details from new patients scheduling evaluations.
  • Processes co-payments from patients, ensuring accurate documentation of transactions.
  • Generates daily co-payment collection reports to verify accuracy.
  • Oversees patient appointments and cancellations, coordinating with therapists to optimize scheduling through a medical records system.
  • Documents patient visits and communicates necessary information to physicians through faxes.
  • Interacts with insurance providers to secure authorizations for all plans, monitoring approved visits.
  • Negotiates payment arrangements with clients in line with established protocols to reduce the risk of collections.
  • Regularly reviews patient accounts by generating detailed reports on daily activities and compliance.
  • Completes weekly reporting tasks, including eligibility tracking and case management.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Two to three years of relevant experience and/or training preferred.
  • Associate degree in healthcare administration or a related field is advantageous.
