We are seeking a Luxury Front Desk Supervisor to join our dynamic team at the Conrad New York, a stunning Forbes 4-Star hotel.


This luxury hotel features 463 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, including a 3-meal restaurant, rooftop bar, and in-room dining. Located in the heart of Lower Manhattan, it's within minutes of historic neighborhoods like Tribeca, Greenwich Village, SoHo, and Wall Street. The hotel is also walking distance to iconic attractions such as the World Trade Center and Oculus.


In this role, you will report to the Director of Front Office and oversee up to 30 union team members in Guest Services, PBX, Bell, and Door departments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all Front Office operations, including guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement, and meeting participation and facilitation.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, recognition, and rewards.
  • Assess and address service and satisfaction trends, ensuring compliance with Company standards.
  • Meet and greet guests, respond to inquiries, requests, and issues in a timely manner, and resolve concerns.
  • Implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, maximizing room occupancy and revenue.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of Hotel Front Office management experience.
  • Availability for open schedules, including overnights.
  • Luxury Hotel experience preferred.
  • Managing in a unionized environment preferred.
  • OnQ experience preferred.
