As a vital member of ABC Liquors, Inc., you will leverage your expertise to advocate for our exceptional products, assist customers in celebrating special moments, and drive sales through effective merchandising, stocking, and product sampling.

Our team members take pride in creating memorable experiences for our guests, fostering product sales, and encouraging repeat patronage. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining an organized, sparkling, and well-stocked environment to enhance every visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in mandatory company-sponsored training sessions, including online courses, attend off-site meetings as necessary, and assist with store resets, remodels, new openings, and product tastings.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members in their roles, as applicable.
  • Provide tailored wine and spirit recommendations to guests, enhancing their understanding of our offerings.
  • Meet sales targets set by management, promoting specific brands of wine and spirits.
  • Utilize various marketing strategies to effectively promote our products, including social media and in-store displays.
  • Restock and replenish inventory on the sales floor, ensuring accurate pricing and product availability.
  • Adhere to all operational compliance policies to maintain a safe environment for both team members and guests.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently using a Point-of-Sale system, including cash handling and applying discounts as per company guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the store, including tidying up the storefront and restrooms as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience or knowledge in the wine or spirits sector, or relevant retail/customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, particularly during peak seasons.

Physical Requirements (With or without accommodation):

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours, and move throughout the store.
  • Frequent lifting and transporting of items up to 35 pounds within the store.
  • Occasional use of ladders and step stools to access stock and shelves.
