POSITION: Quality Assurance Technician
STATUS: Full-time, Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: This position is crucial in maintaining the quality of our products and services, identifying areas for enhancement, and assisting in the implementation of innovative methods. The Quality Technician will conduct inspections, tests, and evaluations to ensure compliance with the Johnson Thermal Systems Quality Management System.

- Promptly identify and communicate any quality or compliance-related issues to the Quality Manager.
- Develop and maintain inspection reports, ensuring they are utilized consistently.
- Analyze data and results from various inspections and tests.
- Effectively communicate complex technical information to representatives from different departments.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives at all levels.
- Maintain calibration records for quality control equipment.
- Adhere to all company standards and specifications.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and complete daily tasks.
- Interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Assist in product inspections to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of inspection and/or production experience preferred, or a combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform job duties.
- Experience in documenting, recording, reporting, and gathering evidence related to quality control functions.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and document control.
- Proficient in using computers, including all Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates respect for others and is a proven team player.
- Knowledge of job site safety practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify defects.
- Experience working in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating efforts with others.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills across all levels and departments.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Strong analytical and interpretative skills.
