Arnot Health is seeking a dedicated Patient Registration Specialist to enhance our patient access services. This pivotal role is essential for facilitating a seamless registration experience for individuals seeking care within our healthcare system. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing patient access, verifying insurance details, and ensuring precise data entry, all while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate registration of patients within the system database
  • Provide patient materials and secure necessary signatures
  • Collect patient co-payments and other cost-sharing amounts
  • Process orders for various healthcare services
  • Obtain precertification for relevant services
  • Coordinate the efficient utilization of available beds
  • Manage centralized scheduling for our healthcare system
  • Conduct insurance verification for patients
  • Operate the switchboard as required
  • Handle mail distribution and retrieve patient charts
  • Assist in training new staff members

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least six months of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to confidentiality
