About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Report to the Director of Department to which assigned.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program registered by the New York State Education or by the licensing authority of another state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date.
  • Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required in critical care units.
  • Appreciable physical effort required, including moving, lifting, and assisting patients.
